The Tera 5100 1D Wireless & Wired Laser Barcode Scanner with Battery Level Indicator, Extra Large Battery Capacity, and Ergonomic Handle is easy to set up, with a plug-and-play design. It is compatible with any PC or laptop where you can plug a 2.4GHz wireless dongle, but not with smartphones and tablets. This barcode scanner supports iOS, Android, Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.

When connected via 2.4GHz wireless, the transmission distance can reach up to 328ft in a barrier-free environment and approximately 30-100ft in an indoor obstacle environment, depending on the complexity of the surroundings.

The package includes the Barcode Scanner, a USB Cable, a Dongle, and a User Manual. The upgraded 2.4G Wireless Receiver is small, portable, and reliable, making it easy to carry (it can be placed at the back of the scanner). The old version wireless receiver was very large and easily damaged.

The scanner supports 35 languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Japanese. To ensure the correct output, make sure the scanner's keyboard language is consistent with your computer's keyboard language. The scanner's factory default language is English.

The scanner features customizable volume, allowing you to turn the volume on/off based on the barcode in the user manual, as well as raise or lower the volume when scanning barcodes.

The scanner works with a virtual serial port driver and serial port software, and the scanned information will display in the window of the serial port software even if other universal software is open, such as Excel, Word, or Notepad.
